The 76th ISO TC 184/SC4 meeting is scheduled to be in Chicago 4 to 7 November 2018. One of the agenda points is to update ISO 29002 and ISO 22745 (the standard for master data machine readable exchange in an XML format) in terms of compatibility with ISO 8000 part 110. This is necessary in view of the progression of data quality dimensions and data quality measurement specified in ISO 8000 part 60. Considerable time and attention is scheduled to discuss the next steps in the advancement of ISO 8000 parts 60, 61, 62, 63, 64 and 65.
SABS TC 184 is the mirror committee to ISO TC 184/SC4 on behalf of the South African Industry. Dr Salomon de Jager, CEO Pilog Group and chairman of SABS TC 184 will represent the South African interests regarding ISO 8000.
